About
Cameron Norrie has been representing Great Britain since 2013, having spent most of his junior career in New Zealand where he grew up.
Since turning pro in 2017, Norrie has continued on an upward trajectory, rising through the ATP rankings and achieving a career-high of world No.8 in 2022 – becoming the fourth British male to break into the ATP Top 10.
Norrie has picked up five ATP singles titles, one ATP doubles title and seven ITF titles throughout his career so far, with his triumphant win at the 2021 Indian Wells Masters being his biggest accomplishment to date. Norrie has also become an established addition to Great Britain’s Davis Cup team, having represented his nation in nine ties.
He is supported by the LTA Men’s Elite Programme – which aims to deliver support for the highest performing British tennis players, who are targeting major tournament success.

The British No.1 was once again selected to represent Great Britain at the Davis Cup Final 8 in Malaga, where he lost out in his singles rubber to world No.1 Djokovic, 6-4, 6-4.
October
Norrie teamed up with Australia's Rinky Hijikata for the doubles draw at the Rolex Shanghai Masters. Competing in their first tournament together as a doubles duo, the pair went on to reach the semi-final where they missed out on a spot in the final to Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos, 6-2, 6-3.
September
The British No.1 joined the Lexus GB Davis Cup team for the Group Stages in Manchester as they defeated Australia, Switzerland and France to reach the Final 8.
He then moved on to the Zhuhai Championships where he made the quarter-finals.
August
Norrie made it to the third round at the US Open, but eventually lost out to Italian Matteo Arnaldi 6-3, 6-4, 6-3.
July
Norrie overcame Czech qualifier Tomas Machac 6-3, 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 in his opening round match at the Championships, Wimbledon. In the second round he lost to world No.43 Christopher Eubanks 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, 7-6(3).
June
Moving onto the grass an Norrie battled past Miomir Kecmanovic and Jordan Thompson, before losing out to Sebastian Korda 6-4, 7-6(1) in the quarter-finals of the cinch Championships.
May
Norrie then headed to the Lyon Open in a hope to defend his title, but it wasn't meant to be for the British No.1 who missed out on a spot in the final to Argentina's Francisco Cerundolo, 6-3, 6-0.
February
Norrie was selected to represent Great Britian in the Davis Cup qualifying tie against Colombia. During the Qualifiers, Norrie won both of his matches against Nicolas Barrientos (6-2, 7-5) and Nicolas Mejia (6-4, 6-4) to send Great Britain through to the Davis Cup Finals group stage.
Norrie then went on to reach his second final of the year at the Buenos Aires Open, where he faced world No.2 Carlos Alcaraz. Despite a dominant start to the match, Norrie eventually ended up losing out on the title in a 6-3, 7-5 defeat to the Spaniard.
However, Norrie then went on to lift his first title of the year at the Rio Open where he came back from a set and a break down to beat reigning champion Alcaraz. After being defeated by the Spaniard the week before in Argentina, Norrie fought hard to overcome the world No.2 in a 5-7, 6-4, 7-5 victory to mark his fifth career title.
January
Norrie was selected to represent Great Britain at the inaugural United Cup - helping Great Britain to finish top of Group D with wins against Australia and Spain, before losing out to a dominant United States team in the Sydney City Final. Norrie went undefeated in Sydney, recording his biggest career win against Spain's Rafael Nadal and another top 10 scalp against Taylor Fritz.
Norrie then went on to compete at the ASB Classic event at his hometown in Auckland, where he stormed to the final but missed out on the title in a 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 defeat to Richard Gasquet
At the Australian Open, the British No.1 battled through to the third round of the Australian Open but was eventually knocked out by world No.71 Jan Lehecka, 6-7(8), 6-3, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4.
December
Norrie reached the semi-final of the Diriya Tennis Cup but unfortunately was denied a place in the final by Taylor Fritz who defeated the Brit 7-6(4), 4-6, 10-6.
He was also selected to represent and lead Great Britain in the inaugural United Cup tournament in Australia.
September
Norrie represented Great Britain at the Davis Cup Finals in Glasgow where he produced a stunning comeback win over world No.12 Taylor Fritz but also losing out to Botic Van de Zandschlup and Alexander Bublik.
August
Norrie finished runner-up at the Los Cabos Open after dispatching second seed Felix Auger-Aliassime in the semi-final before losing out to Daniil Medvedev in the final.
Off the back of his performance in Cincinnati, Norrie produced back-to-back wins at the US Open, clinching a straight-sets win against Holger Rune to advance to the fourth round. However, the British No.1 exited the tournament after losing 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to Andrey Rublev.
July
Norrie experienced the tournament of his career after advancing to his first-ever Grand Slam semi-final at Wimbledon – losing out to eventual champion Novak Djokovic. He posted wins against the likes of Jaume Munar, Pablo Andujar, Tommy Paul and Steve Johnson to advance to the quarter-finals where he would force his way back from 2-1 to win in five sets against David Goffin.

Continuing his campaign on clay, Norrie reached the last 16 at the Madrid Open where he lost out in a third-round battle against eventual champion, Alcaraz, losing 6-4, 6(4)-7, 6-3.
Norrie added his second ATP title of the year to his collection after beating Slovak Alex Molcan 6-3, 6-7(3), 6-1 in the final of the Lyon Open.
The Briton defeated France’s Manuel Guinard and Australia’s Jason Kubler to reach the third-round at Roland Garros before bowing out 6-2, 7-5, 5-7, 6-4 to world No.25, Karen Khachanov, in three hours 37 minutes.

Norrie reached the quarter-finals of the ATP 500 event in Barcelona, but just fell short of the semi-finals after losing 3-6, 5-7, 6-1 to Australia’s Alex de Minaur.
March
Norrie returned to Indian Wells looking to defend his title just five months after being crowned champion for the first time in his career but lost 6-4, 6-3 to rising star, Carlos Alcaraz.
Norrie received a first round bye at the Miami Open before going on to qualify for the last 16 which saw Norrie break into the world's top 10. However, he eventually lost out to eventual runner-up, Casper Ruud 6-3, 6-4 in the fourth round.
February
Norrie claimed his third ATP title at the Delray Beach Open. The British No.1 defeated three home favourites en route to the title, including Sebastian Korda, Tommy Paul and the second seed Reilly Opelka in a 7-6(1), 7-6(4) victory in the final.
A semi-final victory over World No.4 Stefanos Tsitsipas, set up Norrie’s second straight final in as many weeks in Acapulco. Here, he battled 21-time Grand Slam title winner, Rafael Nadal who ended the British No.1s eight-match winning streak with a 6-4, 6-4 victory in the final.

Norrie began the year with Great Britain at the ATP Cup before playing in the Australian Open, where he lost a tricky first round match against rising star Sebastian Korda.
He opened his winning account for the season in Rotterdam, where he reached the quarter-finals of the singles event - defeating Ugo Humbert and Karen Khachanov before losing to eventual champion Felix Auger-Aliassime in the final eight.

At the BNP Paribas Open in October, Norrie shocked the world to become the first Briton to win the title in Indian Wells. He defeated Diego Schwartzman, Grigor Dimitrov and Nikoloz Basilashvili to lift his first ATP Masters 1000 trophy. His incredible run saw him rise to World No.15 and become the 18th man since 1973 to earn the title of British No.1.

Later in the year he made his fifth final on the season at the ATP 250 San Diego, beating three players inside the top-25, before losing to second seed Casper Ruud in the championship match.

In July, Norrie won his first ATP title at the Los Cabos Open after defeating Brandon Nakashima 6-2, 6-2 in the final.

Norrie then went on to enjoy a brilliant grass court season on home soil - progressing to his third final of the year at The Queen's Club where he lost in three sets against Italy's Matteo Berrettini.
He then entered The Championships, Wimbledon, for the first time as a seeded player where he lost to eight-time champion Roger Federer in the third round.

In May, Norrie beat world No.4 Dominic Thiem in straight sets in an ATP 250 event in Lyon - where he also reached the final.

Norrie advanced to the quarter-finals of ATP 500 events in Barcelona and Acapulco before reaching the final on an ATP 250 tournament in Estoril, Portugal, where he was beaten in three sets by Albert Ramos-Vinolas.
January
Norrie kicked off the year by reaching the semi-finals of the Delray Beach Open in his first tournament appearance of 2021, but was beaten by Sebastian Korda in the final four.
Norrie then went on to beat fellow Brit Dan Evans in the opening round of the Australian Open before being knocked out by world No.2 Rafael Nadal.
Reached the last 16 of the Delray Beach Open in February. Progressed to the third round of the US Open in September for the first time and in the process defeated eighth seed Diego Schwartzman in a thrilling five-set encounter where there were 58 break points - the most in any match in US Open history. Reached the semi-finals of an ATP 500 tournament in March, losing to Alexander Zverev in straight sets. Lost in the final of an ATP 250 tournament in Auckland in January having dropped just one set en route to the final. Gained direct entry into the Australian Open and Roland Garros, where he also reached the second round of the doubles competition, with partner Dan Evans. Took Kevin Anderson to three sets in the first round at Queen’s. Knocked out by Dan Evans in the second round at Eastbourne.
A breakthrough year for Norrie. Started at World No.114 and made his debut in the Davis Cup to come from two sets down and beat world No.23 Roberto Bautista-Agut in Spain – despite not having played on clay since 2013. John Lloyd called it “one of the most impressive debuts of all time.” Gained direct entry into a major for the first time at Roland Garros, where he advanced to the second round after his opponent retired through injury. Lost to French No.1 Lucas Pouille in five sets in round two.
After turning professional in June and playing in Challenger events in Surbiton and Nottingham, he received a wild card into Queen’s where he made his ATP main draw debut, losing to Sam Querrey in round one. Earned his first ATP main draw victory at Eastbourne, over Horacio Zeballos. This was also Norrie's first win over a top-50 player. Was awarded a wild card into Wimbledon but lost to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in round one. Won his first Challenger title at Binghamton, in New York – a title previously won by Andy Murray (2005) and Kyle Edmund (2015). Spent the end of the year training with Juan Martin Del Potro and Diego Schwartzman in Argentina before joining the Davis Cup team as a hitting partner.
